THE BAG

We’ve been making this backpack for more than a decade. This is its quieter, cleaner version. Same pocket-rich interior. Stitching now matches the leather, and the brand mark is pressed in, not plated.

31 liters, 3 lb 12 oz. Fits a 15.6-inch laptop. Sized as a personal item on most US airlines.

WHERE IT’S MADE

Nordweg means "north way" in German. Our workshop sits in Picada Café, a small town settled by Germans in the 1820s, high in the green mountains of southern Brazil. A family business started thirty-five years ago and now run by the second generation, who grew up in the workshop.

THE LEATHER

Full-grain leather, finished with a recipe we’ve refined in our workshop over years. It resists scratches. It keeps its color. It doesn’t dry out. The bag you carry in five years still looks like the bag you carry today. Our hides come from LWG Gold-certified tanneries, the highest environmental standard the industry has.
