We make leather goods to be used, carried, and worn in. We want you to do exactly that with confidence. If your Nordweg piece isn't what you hoped for, returning it is simple, free, and fully online.

How returns work
1. Request your return online
Log in at nordweg.co/account, open your order, and click "Request a return." Pick the items, choose a reason, and submit. That's it.
2. Print your prepaid label
Your return is approved automatically. We'll email you a prepaid USPS shipping label within minutes. No trip to the post office counter, no shipping costs.
3. Drop it off and track it
Pack the item in its original packaging when possible, attach the label, and drop it at any USPS location. You'll get tracking updates by email.
4. Get your refund
Once we receive and inspect your item (usually within 2 business days of delivery), we'll refund your original payment method. Most banks post the refund within 3 business days.
What we mean by "good condition"
To qualify for a full refund, your item should come back:
- Unworn and unused in everyday life, but yes, you can absolutely take it out of the box, try it on, feel the leather, and decide.
- Free of damage, scratches, scuffs, marks, or odors that weren't there when it arrived.
- With all original components: dust bag, hardware, tags, and packaging when possible.
Leather is a natural material and we know that. Light handling marks from trying a piece on are not a problem. Items that show real signs of use, damage, or alteration may be refused or refunded partially.
Exchanges
Want a different color, size, or product instead? Start a return as usual and place a new order, and we'll process the refund as soon as your return arrives. This is faster and more reliable than a swap, and it lets you lock in the new item right away.
Warranty (separate from returns)
Every Nordweg product is covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects: stitching that comes loose, hardware that fails under normal use, finishing issues that weren't visible at delivery. Warranty claims are handled separately from returns. Email support@nordweg.com with photos and your order number, and we'll take care of you.
A few specifics
- Return window: 30 days from the delivery date.
- Where we ship returns from / to: US addresses only at this time.
- Final sale: Items marked "Final Sale" at checkout are not eligible for return.
- Personalized items: Monogrammed or custom-made pieces cannot be returned unless defective.
- Gifts: If you received a Nordweg piece as a gift, contact us at support@nordweg.com and we'll arrange a return for store credit.
