Dolomites Satchel

The Dolomites Satchel carries a laptop and the small things a workday needs, without anything ending up at the bottom. 14 liters, a 13-inch laptop in a removable leather case, and six pockets that know their jobs.

Our parents built a workshop in Picada Café 35 years ago, in a mountain town settled by German leather-makers in the 1820s. We built Nordweg from it 15 years ago. Same workshop, same family, same hands. Before every bag ships, our reviewer Hiago checks the stitching, the seams, and the hardware.

THE LEATHER

Top-grain leather from specialized tanneries in Southern Brazil. Over fifteen years of making bags with them, we've kept improving the leather and the finish. Softer. More scratch-resistant. Slower to dry with age. The bag you carry in five years still looks like the bag you carry today.

THE CONSTRUCTION

Handcrafted in our family workshop in Picada Café, in the Serra Gaúcha mountains. Internal pockets, external pockets under the flap, and a zipped back pocket give every small thing a place. The top flap closes with a magnet and a backup strap and hook when the bag is loaded. The shoulder strap adjusts for crossbody or shoulder carry.

WARRANTY & REPAIR

We repair anything we make. Send it back at any age and we'll quote the fix at cost, whether it's stitching, edge refinishing, or a zipper replacement. Our formal warranty covers 2 years against manufacturing defects, repaired at no charge. Not the right fit? Return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

OUR STORY

Our parents met in a shoe factory. Thirty-five years ago they built their own workshop in Southern Brazil. We grew up around it. Ten years ago we started shipping internationally. This year we're opening our first US office in Austin, Texas. Orders in the US ship from Amazon fulfillment centers with Prime delivery. Our team is just a lot closer to the people carrying them now.
