The bifold you reach for when someone needs to confirm it's you. The window flips up for the bouncer, the TSA agent, the pharmacy counter, then drops back down. Slim enough for a front pocket, finished to look better the longer you carry it.

Handcrafted in our family workshop in the mountains of Southern Brazil, a region that has made leather goods for generations.

THE WALLET

The card you reach for most is your driver's license. We put it behind a flip-up leather window on the top-left flap, so you don't have to slide it out of a slot every time someone needs to read it. Lift the window, drop it back down, keep moving.

Six card slots line up three to a side. A full-length compartment behind them holds US bills without folding. Four more vertical pockets carry receipts, a spare card, or a key.

Two linings to choose from. The Egyptian cotton plaid is the red and green check you see inside our bags, our signature detail. The gray is quieter, a cotton-polyester blend.

THE LEATHER

Top-grain leather, finished with a recipe we've refined in our workshop over years. It resists scratches. It keeps its color. It doesn't dry out. Our hides come from LWG Gold-certified tanneries, the industry's highest environmental standard.

OUR STORY

Our parents met in a shoe factory and founded Nordweg 35 years ago, in the Serra Gaúcha mountains of Southern Brazil. The region was settled by German immigrants who brought leatherworking with them in the 1820s. We still make every piece by hand, in the same family workshop.
