THE BAG

We made the Dolomites for the trip that doesn’t fit one category. The Monday meeting in another city. The long weekend away. The flight with a carry-on and a laptop.

Room for a 16-inch laptop and one, two, or three changes of clothes. A removable leather case holds the laptop, so you can carry the bag without it or pull the case out at security. Side pockets for a water bottle. A strap on the back clips onto your carry-on handle. Up top, a flap with a magnetic snap and a secondary zipper, so nothing shifts on the plane.

21 liters, 4 lb 3 oz. Fits a 15.6-inch laptop, compatible with MacBooks up to 16 inches.

We traveled through the Italian Alps and loved the place so much we named this line of bags after it. The Dolomites are one of the most beautiful places on earth.

WHERE IT’S MADE

Nordweg means "north way" in German. Our workshop sits in Picada Café, a small town settled by Germans in the 1820s, high in the green mountains of southern Brazil. A family business started thirty-five years ago and now run by the second generation, who grew up in the workshop.

THE LEATHER

Full-grain leather, finished with a recipe we’ve refined in our workshop over years. It resists scratches. It keeps its color. It doesn’t dry out. The bag you carry in five years still looks like the bag you carry today. Our hides come from LWG Gold-certified tanneries, the highest environmental standard the industry has.
